The main house and its outlying lodges are currently styled for the most indulgent of self-catering experiences, where you can relax on the beautiful shoreline overlooking the lake. From this stunning location tipping the waters edge, you are free to enjoy country walks, glorious fishing, or explore the lake from our own private jetty.

Ireland is rich in literature that understands a soul’s yearnings, and dancing that understands a happy heart.

Margaret Jackson

Ideal for families, reunions, celebrations, romantic breakaways or business, Bunglasha really is a jewel in the crown of County Clare destinations. This historic corner of Ireland is host to some of the finest restaurants and visitor attractions in Europe. Indeed, the Cliffs of Moher – Clare’s stunning 214m high promontory – welcomes over 1,400,000 visitors a year and is currently nominated as one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”.

For those interested in country pursuits, we are able to offer everything from fly fishing on the Shannon, to shooting days to no less than 25 golf courses in the three county area of Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. As well as the ferry ports at Rosslare, Cork, Dublin and Belfast, Bunglasha has no fewer than five international airports within comfortable transfer distance. Bunglasha really is close enough for convenience, without suffering the pitfalls of being uncomfortably close to major transport hubs.
